Seat Cover Replacement – How To
The tumble cable in my passenger seat broke and needed to be fixed. My Jeep seats were looking a bit old and ragged, so I didn’t want to drop the cash to have shop repair the seat – because I was more inclined to just buy new seats -VS- repairing my old seats. So I decided to take a stab at fixing the cable myself and if I failed, I’d just buy new seats. After a bit of research I found this video, which was very helpful in understanding the guts of how a seat is put together. So one Saturday I pulled the seat out, took it apart and repaired the cable. The entire process was much easier than I expected… and only cost me some time.
